Burgess Design transformed a dated 1980s brick building in Kirkland, WA, into a sleek and modern U.S. headquarters for this Confidential Engineering Client, integrating the principles of Feng Shui to align the space with the company’s values and brand identity. Collaborating closely with the client and their Feng Shui consultant, the design team reconfigured the building’s exterior and interior to promote harmony and balance. The renovation included replacing the brick façade with sleek aluminum panels, installing glass railings, and extending the entryway with an awning symbolizing waves—elements vital to good ‘Qi’.
